Bird observation and photography hide: the little ones will have the possibility to get started in bird observation and photography, since we have a hide with direct access from the hotel.
Ideal terrace for nighttime stargazing: Gredos Norte achieved Starlight certification and is currently among the 23 most special places to see stars, with a high quality of the sky for stargazing.
Adventure park in Hoyos del Espino (5 minutes from the hotel) with facilities adapted to all ages and levels.
Casa del Parque Interpretation Center: A place where you can obtain information about the general characteristics of the Regional Park.
Guided routes adapted to each age: mountain, ornithology, mycology, interpretive of nature. These activities are carried out by specialized companies in the area and are adapted to all ages.
We have rooms for families of 4, 5 or more people, some even with a small living room so that the whole family is comfortable and you can enjoy a wonderful stay in Gredos.
For them to have fun and enjoy nature, we have a garden area and a playground for them to spread out at their leisure. In the event that bad weather makes its appearance, you can also enjoy a games room inside the hostel, for greater peace of mind for the parents.
Love your little ones to ornithology. At the Hotel Almanzor we have a hide (or hiding place) with direct access from the hotel, from which the whole family can observe and photograph all kinds of birds in the area.
In the upper part of the hotel we have a terrace that is ideal for the whole family to observe the stars and the wonderful sky that we have in Gredos Norte, which has already achieved the Starlight certification due to its quality.
From our hotel you have the possibility of doing numerous activities with children such as the adventure park in Hoyos del Espino, which is just five minutes from Navarredonda de Gredos, riding a bike, riding a horse or pony, doing archery or visit the Interpretation Center of the Park House in Hoyos del Espino where you can arrange a visit specially adapted for children and you will get information about the general characteristics of the Sierra de Gredos Regional Park.
All seasons are wonderful in Gredos, but summer is unique. The pools in our river are one of the biggest attractions for children. Also, during most of the year you can enjoy mountain, ornithological and interpretive routes of nature organized by specialized companies in the area.
